Frequently Asked Questions

  • Nope, She Plays is not an agent and does not replace an agent. It works alongside agents.

In fact, your agent will love the platform because it is designed to grow your personal brand, which could lead to more lucrative brand deals.

She Plays is a personal brand and creator platform, not a contract negotiator.

She Plays focuses on things agents usually don’t have time or infrastructure to build, such as:

    • Personal brand identity
    • Merchandise and product drops
    • Direct fan community
    • Athlete-owned storytelling platforms
    • Content and creator economy monetization

Bottom line: Agents negotiate deals. She Plays builds your brand and fan economy.

  • She Plays is your own personal brand’s infrastructure, not a competing sponsor. She Plays does not require athletes to promote competing brands.

As part of our beta program, we will design everything around your existing sponsorships so nothing conflicts with your endorsement agreements.

If you have a major brand sponsor, you would not product products that conflict with existing endorsement agreements.

For example: if you are partnering with an athletic brand, you could sell branded fanny packs, or even candles - but not athletic gear or competing sports apparel.

She Plays gives you a shop you own, forever. It will outlive your current brand partnerships and likely attract more as your personal brand grows.

This is not official legal advice, you’d want to review your contract to confirm.

  • We combine a thoughtful, human-centered approach with clear communication and reliable results. It’s not just what we do—it’s how we do it that sets us apart.

  • Yes. She Plays is designed to support NIL athletes who want to build their personal brand and connect with fans.

Everything we help athletes create falls under Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) activities such as:

    • Personal merchandise
    • Digital content and storytelling
    • Personal brand identity and design
    • Community engagement

Athletes maintain full ownership of their NIL and their brand.

  • No.

She Plays is not a sports agent and does not negotiate NIL deals or team contracts.

Instead, we help athletes build the creative and business side of their personal brand, including:

    • Brand identity and design
    • Merchandise concepts
    • Branded online shops

She Plays will work alongside agents, NIL collectives, or marketing representatives.

  • No. Everything created through She Plays is designed around your existing NIL agreements.

If an athlete has partnerships with brands, collectives, or sponsors, we make sure any merchandise or creative work does not conflict with those agreements.

Our goal is to help athletes build long-term brand equity, not compete with their sponsorships.

  • In most cases, yes.

Under current NIL rules, athletes can sell merchandise featuring their name, brand, and likeness, as long as it does not include:

    • School logos
    • Official team uniforms
    • Licensed trademarks of the university

She Plays helps athletes design merchandise that is NIL compliant and independent of school trademarks.n
